I have a new short story coming this summer. It may or may not be published as an ebook. Either way I will be giving it to you all on my WordPress for free. The story is going to be a short story focused on a group of survivors in Beach Town who are trapped, low on supplies and full of ego, shame and guilt. I really hope you enjoy this. It was the ‘surprise’ I’ve been waiting to show you.
It is intended to be a collection of short stories under the title Beach Town: Survivors. I would have put the stories into one book however, to make things more fun, I will release a story at a time. Summer will see the first part. Autumn the second, winter the third etc. I think this is great. It is not a novel I know, but it keeps you living in Beach Town whilst the third novel is in progress. Thank me later.

It is world bee day. Bees are so important to a humans healthy and varied diet that without them, we’d lose a lot of food that we eat, like apples. They are always being killed off, yet they help to produce 1/3 of our food supply. That is so significant that without them, the world could possibly starve to death. They also provide 1/2 of the worlds fibers, oils and other raw materials. They are lovely to watch and are vibrant and colourful. Bees are also crucial to creating many medicines, and honey itself has a ton of benefits. They don’t just serve humans with a food source either, they provide food for wildlife through their roles on earth. Lastly, bees help prevent soil erosion. Save the planet by saving the bees.

*Vin Mariani was a coca wine and patent medicine created in the 1860s by Angelo Mariani, a French chemist from the island of Corsica. Advertised to reduce your hunger, aid digestion, cure the flu and fill you with energy! It contained 6 mg of cocaine per oz. The drink would definitely give you a buzz. It was a huge success and very popular worldwide from popes to presidents. Queen Victoria was a big fan.

Most of you reading this live in a first world, well-developed country. Not to knock that, but did you know that the first world comes with its own set of issues? I’m not talking about 3rd world country issues, like lack of sewage, fresh water, clean hygienic healthcare, education, housing, jobs and various others. Let me talk about some of those problems. Maybe you have something you want to mention below?
1) NO INTERNET/PHONE/COMPUTER – Do you ever hear people complain about not having access to the internet? What about those who cannot go a day without using their phone or computer? Do you see that they are complaining about something which ultimately contributes nothing to the world? You can live and thrive and survive without these things, which makes it a no. 1 first world issue.
2) I’M BORED – Yeah, people still go on about being bored. Do you not think they have enough surrounding them, like the above, without becoming bored? Oh, but going for a walk is boring. Trying something new or going somewhere is boring. Honestly, I’ve laughed so hard at people who say they are bored. Do you know how those starving children feel? What about those who don’t have an education or fresh water?
3) I’M HUNGRY – Unbelievable that people still say this. Granted there are struggling families, but for the most part a lot of people are well fed. They have food at their disposal, to buy whenever they want at an affordable price. That isn’t the case in 3rd world countries.
4) WARDROBE FULL OF CLOTHES BUT NOTHING TO WEAR – Oh, it must be so fucking painful. I’ll just list a few more:
5) SOGGY BISCUITS IN MY TEA
6) IT’S REALLY HOT INSIDE BUT FREEZING OUTSIDE
7) MY NAILS ARE GONNA GET RUINED
8) HAVING TO WAIT IN LINE
9) BAD HAIR DAY
10) COLD TEA
Do you think you have any that might be worth mentioning? There are so many more first world problems, including not being able to go to the gym, having to wait to have your hair styled, having nothing to listen to in the car, sick of your job, feeling fed up with life and lots more!

Hi, and welcome to psychedelicwizard.org . You will find a lot of interesting topics and posts here. Let me introduce my new assistant Anita. I’m paying her a decent wage, so don’t worry about that.
What does archetype mean? It is a concept in areas which relates to behaviour, historical psychology and literature analysis. Archetypes can be: a pattern of behaviour, prototype or main model that other patterns of behaviour and objects copy or merge into. A ‘standard example.’ It can be a platonic concept of pure form, embodied the fundamental characteristics of a thing. A collectively-inherited unconscious idea, pattern of thought that is universally present within individual psyches. Recurring symbol or motif in literature, painting or mythology.
Archetypes are close analogies to instincts. Believed that long before any consciousness develops, the impersonal and inherited traits of human beings that present and motivate behaviour. So, we can see that it means, original pattern from which copies are made.
Archetypes are most commonly used in writing, literature. By using archetypes or specific archetypes within fiction writing, such as the hero, it can help the writing become universally accepted. Readers will relate to and identify with the characters and situations. Some archetypes used in writing stories include: overcoming the monster, rags to riches, the quest, voyage and return, comedy, tragedy, rebirth.
Do you know what your archetype is? Do you like to write about a particular archetype more than others? How are you today?
