Hot! Hot!

Hello all and welcome! Another heatwave has sprung up in England. In my northern part I am enjoying frequent 27 Celsius days which is great. Today at 29c and I’m hoping we get up to 35c again.

Let’s all just sit back and enjoy the heat and some nice drinks with ice.

Do you swim?

One of the best things you could do. Going to the beach sounds great but don’t take my word for it. Everyone has different tastes. I could tolerate the hot sand and such for an hour at max in this weather. On holiday abroad though it is usually more bearable. (mmmm, that can’t be right).

Recent News ! *

There is much going on in the world at the moment. We have the on going conflict with Ukraine and Russia. We have the refugee crisis and not just from the war, it is another issues that is long standing.

Everyone seems to have forgotten about the Afghanistan refugees and the fact the country has been taken over by terrorists. They haven’t talked about this in the news at all. They have moved their focus onto two things:

  1. War in Ukraine
  2. Fuel prices
  3. Energy costs
  4. Cost of living
  5. The great reset / the new world

No. 5 doesn’t make me a conspiracy theorist. The Great Reset is a part of the plan drawn up by the World Economic Forum – https://www.weforum.org/great-reset

I don’t think the fuel prices issue will be resolved soon. It fluctuates and has done for years. Cost of living is a joke, it is not really acceptable for supermarkets, and other businesses to maintain such high prices. They do have something called profits. This ties into the energy costs, the companies record record highs for 2 years over the pandemic. Yet they increase bills costs.

When will people wake up and stop paying these bills? Stop paying for bills, stop paying rent or your mortgage, and stop paying for products you need like food. The reason is simple… these companies have stolen the natural worlds resources and it is up to you to reclaim them.

Butchering the Sauna

This is common sense but on such a hot day the outside is the sauna. So… don’t use a sauna. However days like this warrant a day trip to an outdoor spa or something, or a delightful and posh inside spa with pool, whirl pool. You name it.

Personally I enjoy a good swim in a small spa type pool. Or just to kick back and relax.

It is goodbye for now. I am on for my lemon ice tea.

Introduction

It’s been a hot summer week. Lots has happened and I’ve been writing tons, editing a lot and preparing for an exciting release. It peaked at 30c here today so a far cry from all the heat warnings. Might I add, England could do with a heatwave, but instead the media has instilled more fear upon the masses! Just let us enjoy ourselves!

As you know I’m writing a novella called Dead Reckoning. A completely different kind of horror story than the usual zombocalypse stuff. To aim for a summer release is ambitious but doable at the rate I’m writing it. Of course I need to take account of editing which takes the longest time. Any alpha or beta readers here, then comment below if you’re interested!

I spent a few hours yesterday reading at a cafe in the sun, which was lovely. I went last Saturday too, and might just make my Saturday the day to do that! How did you spend the day?

I wish I could keep up with all your incredible writings and events but life is hectic sometimes you know? How’s things for you?

Summer ’22 ~ How We Cherish the Memories🍦

🌞 It is finally showing signs of summer here with a peak of around 22 yesterday and now peaking at 27 at my current location (abandoned caravan park). I am so glad to finally be able to enjoy some lovely weather. Sunshine is great for mental health, helps to boost our satisfaction and aid our happiness.

When it gets too hot though that can cause issues but for me, England is not hot enough most of the time so I enjoy every second of heat! I am so fed up of not going to places more often so I have decided to endeavor to go to the lovely beach at some point. πŸ–

The relaxation of sitting on the beach staring into your own soul

Maybe I could do some surfing? Doubt it since I don’t have a surfboard! Must be cool to do this!πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ

What is the colour of summer? People might associate red and orange with the season as it is hot. However for me blues represent summer! Why? Because blue is in contrast to the heat and allows us to feel that needed refreshing blue, the cool breeze, the blue water of the seas, the clear blue skies and the light coloured summer clothing.πŸ’™ Blue is my favourite colour too.

I think given the hard time everyone has suffered and the self repair and healing we have all been through we deserve to treat this summer with more love and care than any other. Celebrate and do things like it is the last summer on earth. Enjoy the moments, cherish the memories. Go to the beach, eat ice cream, go surfing, go eat out, go watch movies, go walking, go travel, do what you want to do. 😁

Don’t be afraid of doing it alone either. I see so many WordPress sites with people who share their lives and adventures and they do it alone! That is such an inspiration for me. I know they do things with others too, but still it is that solo element which I find amazing and motivating. I find inspiration from reading about their day trips, the holidays, the family days out, the dreams and the goals and the heartbreaks and setbacks. It makes us human. To live and to experience emotions makes us human beings. πŸ’‹

Easter! A Time of Hope

A time for hope and joy, Easter. The time of Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the after. After returning, was spotted with holes in his hands and feet, wandering around. Sounds insignificant.

Looking at this a little more we can see that he returned with the help of God, who resurrected him. His enemies, afraid. His friends, astounded and happy. Still to this day we need a reason to believe. He walked among the human race once more. His form had changed, as it had done previously. It is not to suggest he was a shapeshifter, although it is likely that he was, due to his spiritual nature, he could take human form like angels.

Easter, a time for chocolate and over indulgence. The modern world, inverting everything like usual, has to turn it on its head and sin. Gluttony and lies plague Easter. We get irrelevant images of bunnies, instead of attending church in humble honour of His sacrifice for our sins. I watched an Easter service last year online, delivered by a reverend I knew at the time. I must say it sticks in my mind because it was brilliant. Very imaginative and detailed as it chronicled Jesus from crucifixion to resurrection.

The resurrection shows us that God, is more powerful than anything in the universe, for He can literally raise the dead. It proves that love, is stronger than hate and fear. It shows a fathers love for his son, saved him. Jesus was the strongest man on earth at one point, taking the unthinkable burden of sacrificing himself for the sins of humanity, knowing the weight of what he was doing.

For over two thousand years, since his death, the human race has sinned in various forms. War, suffering, anger, hate, gluttony, cheating, free reign on porn and sex, magic and bitch craft, murder, scheming, secret vows, political satire bullshit, animal slaughter, disgracing God and Jesus’ names. The list goes on.

What have we become if not immoral inherent? Are we really capable of ascension, forgiveness and true unconditional love?

I am sharing the photo below as it reflects spring well.

The First Walk

Yesterday was my first walk outside. I was taken by someone out of town to a quiet trail, and covered 3 miles altogether.

At first, the moment I got into the car from coming outside, I sensed but didn’t really acknowledge something was different. Within minutes of the car moving, I felt myself panicking. I stayed calm and collected. But, I could not determine why I felt this strange feeling. I felt like crying and saying “take me back, I don’t want to do this.” It was overwhelming until I stuck a cd on I brought with me. It was a good idea, as the music I know relaxes me.

I wore my face mask at all times in the car, and when we parked up. On the walk, I kept a distance of at least 2m and sometimes more. When other people and cyclists would pass, I would put my mask back on until we were clear of them. It was a beautiful path, and endless fields basking around us in the sunshine. I enjoyed it.

It wasn’t all smiles. I still felt during the whole time, very apprehensive. I could not think properly at one point, and my memory and concentration were not the best. But I was calm, not panicking. I think it could have been anxiety, true anxiety, which I don’t actually suffer from until now. 2 and a 1/2 months inside has angered me, as the long term effects are going to be harder to overcome than the short term. For example, everyone who has been stuck inside should get some kind of support for coming back to normal life.

There were cows, and I took it upon myself to feed them some grass, whilst talking to them. They all seemed to enjoy my company, although at first they were scared. I also couldn’t help feel sorry for them. I don’t eat red meat, so knowing that a field of bulls is only going to be eaten saddens me. I wish we could all find another way to get our protein and stuff! Surely there is another way.

Here’s a quick poem dedicated to yesterdays walk, titled: WALK

When you show your face,

and get a nervous embrace,

let that anxiety fade,

kind of yesterday.

Thanks for being a dedicated readership of this blog. I hope to continue to read your posts too, they are fascinating and damned funny sometimes!
