Eternity

Everlasting love
love creates
fear destroys... hearts
waiting for the start
of your life
in the fragile existence
of your mind

hovering above crystal water
remember that there is law and order
in our lands... which we stole from ether
upon the mountain
strung and hanging by the tether
of remorse

acceded
proceeded
your burning heart
set alight by the narrow light
shining through your razor sharp wire
light of eternity
beginning the fraternity

jewels, moon lights
necklace or chalice... delights
throne high so down
into the rust
rocks, depth
panic
scream

kilowatt manner power house
time to tame your plugs
unplug
for infinity.

No Longer Bound

As my Angels as my guide
I know I'll make it home alive
seeing you cry
hide away
from the pain
and the misery
longing to help

now, no longer ashamed
living yet another day
my heart bled a thousand roses that...
... lingered for eternity in your life
now I'm entrapped and chanting
wanting and yearning
no way out

contradiction
fatal affliction
attraction disaster
your eyes they sheen under tears drying under your desert iris

those chains burned to ash
I scattered them with the brash
of my soul
my day is now longer
forever you are in front
my chains are gone

fear melted
love succeeded
my memories evaded
perception
but the chains have gone, you are free

no longer bound by the chains of fear
or swimming in desolation
seeking the light
power of the night
you're the only one who can make it right
be at rest
be at peace.

Crash

Vesta "call on me"

call my name

hold my hand

be my rock

my guide and thy hope

"I hope to stay"

you hope too much

"hope not enough"

yet the moon is now red

through the mist your family is dead

I see a crash

"you are the crash"

tonight we meet on the edge of our desire

"crash" she said

climbed the vines of destiny

Ambitious Endeavors

Welcome to this post about my ambitious yet probably under researched future! Should I spill out my internal organs, hope and life goals to you all? No. Should I share some of my goals with you, and my recent works in the hope you will reciprocate this to me and we can then bask in our own solemn glory? Yes.

It’s always a no, yes game until you find out what you really wanted all along. Perhaps it is okay to be that person sat in the café alone, writing notes, reading and thinking about how you can better materialise your dreams of being a star writer. Cafe’s are public places akin to a pub (public house) so no shame in crafting a story here. Same with libraries, never be afraid of sitting in a library to write. We all have those thoughts that keep up back from performing at our best. When we finally face them we realise something, that they cannot harm us.

Waking at 6am to write for a couple hours or to crank out a couple thousand words a day is good. I talk about schedules and dedication but at the end of your day, you should feel satisfied with your work rather than feeling like you’ve not done enough. Taking breaks are good things, like sitting on your butt at midnight to work through a scene which made no sense until now.

Ambitious is my middle name, writing potential garbage is the game.

— Some loose tongued writer

May I take a moment to say this: if you write, you are a writer! Any style, and platform and any genre. Granted I do like to see dedication and quality in writers, like abiding by the rules and such. What I want to achieve is freedom of expression, not to say to everyone who writes; “hey you can be a writer, just write something, anything.” The reality here focuses on creative writing, fiction writing, those writing novellas, full length novel stories.

I also want to share a new story with you. Yeah yeah, you’ve heard about Beach Town: Survivors a bazillion times since the end of May, but I like the story and will be happy to see it available for people to read (free to read btw). But I managed to finally start a story I’ve been wanting to write for some time, sadly though – and I kindly ask you not to laugh at this – I was genuinely too terrified to begin to write it, for multiple reasons.

It’s horror with supernatural elements. It is a horror story and the bad creatures in it are vampires which I do not like because they scare me. Well, I decided to move onto this as the next novella since it needs writing sooner or later. I’ve already made a cover, which of course may change. No idea when it will be available or if I will release but pretty sure I can write it over the next month. It’s slightly more terrifying than my average horror story, the vamps have small wings, they can levitate and have dark robes. A part of me might not write this. I will definitely absorb you all into the process when I can be bothered, not quite ready to drop the cover yet.

The Seductive Vampire

Through those aged stone walls she moves

her tongue licks the remains of her previous victim from her lips

she flicks her hair back and graciously parades the castle halls

... the butler is the accomplice luring those young men to the estate

promises of glorious parties and sexual women

she waits like a hissing viper in the shadow

as the clock strikes midnight and her feast is awaiting her arrival

her hands guide him to a room darkened

candles lustfully light her dark spirit

until he is unarmed

undressed

and she ravages his neck

consuming his arterial flow

he is lifeless

she is possessive

and so the clean up began a naughty treat

now she wonders, who else will she get to meet...

Summer ’22 ~ How We Cherish the Memories🍦

🌞 It is finally showing signs of summer here with a peak of around 22 yesterday and now peaking at 27 at my current location (abandoned caravan park). I am so glad to finally be able to enjoy some lovely weather. Sunshine is great for mental health, helps to boost our satisfaction and aid our happiness.

When it gets too hot though that can cause issues but for me, England is not hot enough most of the time so I enjoy every second of heat! I am so fed up of not going to places more often so I have decided to endeavor to go to the lovely beach at some point. 🏖

The relaxation of sitting on the beach staring into your own soul

Maybe I could do some surfing? Doubt it since I don’t have a surfboard! Must be cool to do this!🏄‍♂️

What is the colour of summer? People might associate red and orange with the season as it is hot. However for me blues represent summer! Why? Because blue is in contrast to the heat and allows us to feel that needed refreshing blue, the cool breeze, the blue water of the seas, the clear blue skies and the light coloured summer clothing.💙 Blue is my favourite colour too.

I think given the hard time everyone has suffered and the self repair and healing we have all been through we deserve to treat this summer with more love and care than any other. Celebrate and do things like it is the last summer on earth. Enjoy the moments, cherish the memories. Go to the beach, eat ice cream, go surfing, go eat out, go watch movies, go walking, go travel, do what you want to do. 😁

Don’t be afraid of doing it alone either. I see so many WordPress sites with people who share their lives and adventures and they do it alone! That is such an inspiration for me. I know they do things with others too, but still it is that solo element which I find amazing and motivating. I find inspiration from reading about their day trips, the holidays, the family days out, the dreams and the goals and the heartbreaks and setbacks. It makes us human. To live and to experience emotions makes us human beings. 💋

Paradox

Paradox – A seemingly absurd or contradictory statement or proposition which when investigated may prove to be well founded or true.

There was a single point in space and time

singularity, mystery

spawned a trillion years

lightyears across the galaxy

... two souls meet

hearts open

feelings

connecting

but that is temporary

as the world revolves

and turns its back against the sun

and people perish

from the dust they came

to the dust they will go

but they forget that journey

formed love in the middle of nothing

that is a paradox

Stranded

In the sea of our deepest and lonesome desire

comes from the earth but wind, water and fire

and the whole community of people who sit

and we wait for them to meet

to bring them together

and heal the wounds

from past hurt

* I have now finished Beach Town: Survivors and will be moving to edit starting from Monday. This is great news and means I already completed it well in advance of August which was the month I was aiming to release it. For your pleasure, I post the original blog below which has the cover. Enjoy your day.

🌈Pride Month 22🌈

Happy Pride Month to all those who celebrate this! I want to make this post so that I could briefly talk a little about its history and why it is significant and what we as humans can do to either better understand it or to understand some of the people responsible.

So firstly this is a social movement because it revolves around a social issue. Pride month has been marked since 1970 as June, a time to celebrate what it means to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer. Now there is a variety of ‘other’ categories. What it demands is equality from ‘cis’ and ‘heterosexual’ norms. cis is ‘denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender corresponds with their birth sex’.

When there are Pride marches or parades – particularly here in the UK, Manchester, where the event takes over the city for the month – it is because of the Stonewall uprising. It was a watershed moment in LGBTQ history when patrons of the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in Manhattan fought back against a police raid. It is now a national monument. ’22 marks the 52nd anniversary of the event.

Interestingly despite homosexuality being criminalised and frowned upon long before that, it was Henry Gerber in 1924, a German Immigrant who founded the Society for Human Rights in Chicago, and it was the first group to campaign for gay rights in the United States. In 1955 women including Del Martin and Phyllis Lyons founded the Daughters of Bilitis in San Francisco, the first lesbian rights group in the United States. In fact, the first gay pride month was held in Chicago!

The symbol of pride is a rainbow flag. Are you familiar with the story of Harvey Milk? I suspect you may have heard of him or even seen the movie. Well, he was the openly gay San Francisco city supervisor who tasked the artist Gilbert Baker with creating a symbol for the gay community to use in place of the pink triangle. The pink triangle was actually used by the Nazis in concentration camps, when they forced gay men to wear them. Everyone in those camps had a coloured symbol though. Baker created the pride flag in 1978.

President Bill Clinton (one of the better ones I might add) was the first president to recognise pride month, because in 1999 he issued proclamation No. 7203. His successor who was arguably one of the more horrid presidents, George W. Bush, did not recognise it at all.

Now you’ve had a brief overview of the history. Have a wonderful day!
